BlogSpot.com or Blogger.com is a Google service. So, a blog created on Blogger is already SEO Friendly but some steps you will have to follow yourself such as Meta tags. A Meta tag is nothing but HTML code where you have to create according to your blog. There is an option, which information you have to show in the Google Search Engine and which have to hide?
Apart from this, there are many more options but today, I am telling you only about "Meta tags". Meta tags are the most relevant to bring your blog to the search engine. You can add information about your blog which shows the name of your blog and search URL in the search engine.
What is Meta tags code?
The Meta Tags contains code for your blog's description, title, Meta keywords, language, author and country information which makes the search engine easy to know a blog. Suppose if you search my blog's name or URL, in any Google search engine, the search engine will show such type of result.

What is in Meta tags?
To show results in a search engine, I have added the tags to my blog. This is most important for a free blog on Blogger. If you have not added the Meta tags code in the blog then the search engine will have a lot of problem in finding out about the blog's name, who is the author, what is the country name, what is the language and what information is shared on? It is very important for all to add Meta tags to the Blog.
1. Blog title.
2. What is the blog about?
3. About keywords
4. Author
5. Language
6. Country
7. Robot
How to create Meta tags code?
Before adding Meta tags to the blog, first of all, you have to create Meta tags code.
Steps:
1. Description: For description, you have to write a few words about your blog, what type of information you want to share on. The description should not be more than 160 characters.
2. Keywords: Information about which topic is shared on your blog. Such as I am sharing more information about keywords like blogging, SEO, make money, social media. Similarly, you can choose 10 to 15 words related to your blog. Remember that apply "," between each word or separate by commas such as Blogging, SEO, Make Money, Social Media, Computer, Internet, and Marketing etc.
3. Author: Write your name as author. This will allow Google to easily know who has created this blog, who manages it and who share the post.
4. Language: Here you have to write a language name in which your blog post content is written. Suppose you have written your blog in English, write English in language Meta tags option.
5. Country: Here you have to write your country name. If you are from the US, write the US or whatever your country name is.
6. Robot: what information about your blog has to show in the search engine and what have to hide? According to me, it is better to select "ALL" option.
Now you may have come to know about all these topics. Here in the below code, you have to replace red color text according to your blog's details and create Meta tags easily.
It is very easy to add the Meta tags on the blog. You have to go on Theme option, Edit HTML and paste below the <head>.
How to add Meta Tags Code in Blogger?
Step 1:
1. Go to Blogger.com and log in.
2. Click on Theme option in blogger Dashboard.
3. Click on Edit HTML.
Step 2:
1. Click your mouse anywhere in the coding section.
2. Press Ctrl+F.
3. Type <head> in search box.
4. Paste code below the <head>
5. Click on Save Theme
