If your blog is approved by AdSense, Then you can put Ads on your blog. Through this, you can earn money in two ways.

There are two people-
1. Advertisers – The person, organization or company that places advertisements on other’s website or blog.
2. Publisher - People who want to show Ads on their website or blog.

That’s why Google introduced a product that is called AdWords. Through this, a large company or anyone who wants to promote their product, company and blog website can register and add their Ads. All company or products have keywords. Keywords are those that people search on Google. If there is a keyword of a product on your website, then your website will display related to Ads with the same keywords.
When Google's Robots visit your blog and detect any keywords on your website, it shows the same advertisements which match with AdWords. If you wrote about the smartphone in your blog, the advertisement will appear related to the smartphone on your blog. These Ads will be for those companies, which will put related keywords of products in Google AdWords and whenever you use their keywords in your post, you’ll see their ads.
Interest Based Advertising
When you visit e-commerce or a product website, all the history and the data remain saved in your browser. When you visit again a blog or website where AdSense Ads has saved then it shows Ads by accessing your browser's data, according to your last visited page. AdSense considers that you are interested in it, and then shows you related Ads. Suppose that, you have visited the Flipkart website and searched a mobile for it. So your next AdSense ads will be mobile of Flipkart website.
How to Earn Money from Google AdSense?
First of all, you will have to create a blog to earn money from Google AdSense. What is a blog? and How do you make a free blog? When you create a blog and make 50-100 posts on it and your blog should be 6 months old, then you can apply for AdSense.
What type of Ad Network is AdSense?
It is a PPC (Paid Per Click) or (Paid to Click) Ads network. Means if you place AdSense Ads on your site and anyone clicks on it you will earn according to “Click”. You can get from 0.01 to 1$ or more than it but it depends on the country basis.
What are the Criteria Apply for Google AdSense?
1. Page view on your blog website should be 500-600 daily.
2. SEO of your blog website should be done.
3. Your Template/Theme should be neat and clean.
4. There should not be other Ads network. If you have placed other’s network Ads like Bidvertiser, Inforlink, Chitika etc. you will have to remove it.
5. About us, Contact us, Privacy policy and Disclaimer should be on your website.
6. If you didn’t add a domain name and using BlogSpot, your blog should be 6 months old.
In this way, you have to follow all points, if you want to approve Google AdSense.
How to Apply for Google AdSense?
There are 2 ways to apply Google AdSense-
1. You can apply directly from your blog or website but domain should be added like .com, .org, .net, .info and .gov etc.
2. If you are applying from Blogspot and your blog is not 6 months old then you have to follow these steps-
a. You have to create a YouTube channel and upload some video.
b. When 300-400 views come on your video then you can apply.
c. For applying Google AdSense go to the youtube video and click on monetize and sign up AdSense. in this way, your AdSense account will create.
d. Then, you can add AdSense’s Ads to your blog by adding a link to your blog in AdSense.
When does Google Approved and When Google Ads Place?
When you apply for AdSense, AdSense checks your site completely. If your site is completely correct, then your AdSense account is approved. But if a copy-write post on your site or something that does not follow the policy of AdSense like Ads of other Ad Network, your AdSense will be disapproved. AdSense check your site in 2-3 days and send you an Email. You will get email under both conditions either approved or disapproved.
When your AdSense account is approved you can add AdSense Ads on your blog website. For a few days, there are blank Ads shows on your blog. After 5-10 days later your blog site Ads starts appearing.
